Located in Queensland's beautiful Cooloola Cove,  Sunshine Kingdom is our home. Being whimsical and artistic at heart, I have worked to create a beautiful life. As the Kingdom of heaven is within us it has indeed materialized. Our home is a palace surrounded by gorgous grounds for us to thrive.

Beautiful spaces ought to be shared and I wanted to open this space to Mothers and Children, especially as I found, as an adult, cultivating play to be one of the tricker aspects of parenting and certainly one of the things most lacking in our society today. We are bogged down with the weight of adulting when our children call for us to slow down, be present and peaceful, if only we weren't thinking about the bills to pay, the groceries to buy, the washing we *should* be folding not to mention the emotional burdens we all carry as well. Sunshine Kingdom offers us a culture shift away from productivity and consumerism.

A place to honour the child within us all, remembering we all carry a Divine spark, Spiritually speaking, we are all Royalty, and magic in this realm is as real as we make it out to be. Think: traditional childhood; everything from dress-ups and role play to storytelling, egg and spoon races, arts and crafts and back again! 

I will be hosting a weekly playgroup and monthly community events here for all ages. These events will align with the Earth's natural rhythm, following the cycle of the Sun. And will include a focus on child-like things, symbology and the hidden Spiritual meanings in our Myths, Legends and Fairy Tales.

 

Sunshine Kingdom is more than just coming together for activities, its finding your place in community and being seen and heard, no matter your age or walk of life, it’s about creating a deep sense of groundedness and belonging for all of us. This is a place to restore the joy of life through culture, ritual, and most of all connected play!
